Building Energy Data Exchange Specification (BEDES)

Description

The Building Energy Data Exchange Specification (BEDES, pronounced "beads") is a dictionary of terms and definitions commonly used in tools and activities that help stakeholders make energy investment decisions, track building performance, and implement energy efficient policies and programs. An ecosystem of BEDES Compliant software will facilitate the exchange of information on building characteristics and energy use.
